Czech public sector budgets are under considerable pressure. The government´s reform efforts is so far limited to flat, but inefficient cuts, deeper structural interventions, however, has not been seen. The effectiveness of government spending is not growing, increasingly discussed corruption possibly further increases the cost of public expenditure.

PPP in this situation seems like a good alternative that would substantially relieve public budgets, in particular would improve efficiency in the procurement of public infrastructure services and growth of
of public services quality. The situation does not chane - the public sector cannot use the partnership with the private sector and thus prevents any changes.

Better times are glittering in the transport sector - PPP is again considered for the D1 and D3, R35 and the Prague ring.

In connection with the planned reforms in education and health sectors the PPPs
are also debating, as well as in social services and sectors of water and energy. At the municipal leve. new city councils and boards are waking up and seeking resources to invest. In many cases, the PPP can be of use...

Last but not least, you will learn about current changes in legislation - particularly in the Concession Act and ongoing amendments to the Public Procurement Act.

This year’s conference will be live and interactive, focused on open discussion and a strong feedback to all stakeholders.

We look forward to meeting with you,
