Slovakia is among the European countries where the concept of PPP projects was a little late in catching on. In the past year, however, Slovakia has managed to make up this “deficit” very quickly. Today, PPP are discussed in Slovakia not just in connection to transport infrastructure, but also in connection to sports arenas or the planned media complex for Slovak Television and Slovak Radio. Moreover, the financial support for PPP projects provided by the SR Finance Ministry should help the development of regional projects as well.
