The Conference (5th annual) will comprehend recent development in the PPP sector in the territory of CEE, with a natural focus on the Czech Republic. As the biggest gathering of virtually all professionals from both public and private sectors, will try to uphold or even rise its traditionally high level.
Like in other years, newest development of existing PPP projects will be discussed, both in Czech and other European countries, as well as changes in legislation, political support and influence, procurement trends, etc. However the main focus of this year´s PPP FORUM is clearly municipal and regional PPP market, where majority of future PPP projects is envisaged. Municipalities are visibly more flexible and their need for faster development is critical in CEE territory, therefore PPP/PFI can find the way forward with less pain.
Numerous municipal projects are emerging already, and more will follow (many of them will be presented at the Conference). Also new innovative ways of financing will be described, namely combining EU funds and PPP, as well as EIB, EBRD and EU joint initiatives JASPERS and JESSICA.
