NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) offers assistance in preparation of feasibility studies to companies interested in utilisation of clean coal technologies.

The minimum conditions include planned installed capacity of tens to hundreds of MW and the highest installed candidate outputs have the best chance to be selected for the project.

This offer is not binding, for in the case of selection of a suitable candidate NEDO needs to apply for a subsidy from METI (Ministry of Environment, Trade and Industry) and subsequently find a suitable Japanese company to take up this task. 

This intention may be discussed in greater detail with the suitable candidates in the context of technical consultations at the seminar. The tentative deadline for the study completion is March 2011.
